How long can an Instagram caption be?
An Instagram caption can be up to 2,200 characters and a profile bio up to 150. Only the first two lines of a caption show in the feed, so put the key message first.
How many characters is an emoji?
The tool counts emojis as one character, the way they appear on screen. Some platforms (e.g. X) may count certain emojis as two; leave a few characters of room if you're close to the limit.
How long should an SEO title and description be?
Search results show roughly the first 60 characters of a title and 160 of a description. Longer text is cut off.
Is my text saved anywhere?
No. Counting happens entirely in your browser; your text is never sent anywhere.
