What is HEIC and why won't it open?
HEIC is the iPhone's default photo format; it takes less space than JPG. Some versions of Windows, Android devices and many websites can't open it. Converting to JPG makes the photo usable everywhere.
Will the quality drop?
The resolution is kept. At 92% JPG quality the difference isn't visible; choose PNG for fully lossless output (larger files).
How do I make my iPhone save photos as JPG?
