Frequently asked questions

How do I find the color codes of an image?

Upload the image to the tool; its dominant colors are listed with HEX, RGB, HSL and CMYK values. Click a color to copy its HEX code to the clipboard.

Will the CMYK values print exactly the same?

No. The CMYK values here are a general conversion from screen colors. For exact print results, use your printer's color profile and ask for a proof.

How many colors should I extract?

4–6 colors are usually enough for brand and social media palettes. Increase the number to capture more tones in photographs.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. The color analysis runs entirely in your browser; your image never leaves your device.
