Frequently asked questions
How good is the captured photo?
Frames are saved at the video's own resolution: 1920 × 1080 from 1080p, 3840 × 2160 from 4K. Frames from fast motion can be blurry, so step a few frames back or forward to find the sharpest one.
Which video formats are supported?
Any video your browser can play: MP4 and WEBM on most devices, plus MOV in Safari. If the video plays, you can grab frames.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. The video only opens in your browser, and frames are created on your device.
Should I choose PNG or JPG?
Choose PNG for maximum quality. JPG or WEBP give smaller files; for covers and social images the difference is usually not visible.
