Frequently asked questions
What is the Reels safe zone?
On Reels, the top of the screen is covered by the title and camera icon, the bottom by the username and caption, and the right side by the like, comment and share buttons. The safe zone is the central area these elements don't cover; text and logos should stay inside it.
What size should I design Reels and Stories at?
Design Reels, Stories, TikToks and Shorts at 1080 × 1920 pixels (9:16). Keep important content away from the top and bottom edges, especially the bottom area where the caption sits; the frame in this tool shows the approximate limits for each platform.
Are the safe zone sizes exact?
No. Interfaces vary by device, app version and caption length. The frames in this tool are approximations based on common screens; leaving a little extra margin around critical content is the safest approach.
How do I use the template?
Place the downloaded 1080 × 1920 PNG template as the top layer of your design file, lower its opacity and hide it before exporting.
