Frequently asked questions
Which target size should I choose?
20 MB is a safe target that works in both Gmail and Outlook. On this page the tool opens with 20 MB by default.
What if the video won't go under 20 MB?
For long videos, lowering the bitrate alone reduces quality a lot. Cap the resolution at 720p or 480p, and if needed shorten the video or split it into parts.
Will quality drop a lot?
For short videos (1–2 minutes), 20 MB usually gives decent 720p quality. The longer the video, the less data per second and the lower the quality.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. Compression happens entirely in your browser.
